Welcome to Stonefeather Atelier's Blog. My name is Justin Dancing Hawk. I am a Pastel Artist and enjoy WIldlife Art,...with a Native American twist. I call my style DIDACTIC SYMBOLISM. While much of my work "looks" much like many other wildlife Artists, my intent is to TEACH about the symbolic aspects of my subjects as derived from the Native American tradition of the "totem" (properly pronounced DOE - DEM).
